Another series lost

Another week begins today with a sense of acute disappointment.Team India has failed to win the series against Australia and lost even before the last match has been played. The Indian batsmen resemble rich spoilt brats these days.Give them a flat track and depleted bowling attack and they will come to the party scoring astonishingly quick centuries and ending up with record scores and fabulous strike rates. But the moment you place them against a quality attack and on a surface which test their technique a bit they tend surrender meekly like lambs. The Australians will be blessing the curator in Guwahati for the pitch in the 6th match. With half a team they have managed to thrash us again and on our own soil this time.We are country of hypocrites and have managed to hype Sachin Tendulkars innings more than the teams loss.Point is we could have done with someone who is far less talented but understands that at a point where you need 19 off 18 balls you need to cut down risks and take singles and not play the Misbah shot and leave it to the tailenders to create another epic about a tragic hero whose team did not support him.
